Doug Gollahon

Born August 14th, 1959.

Currently resides in Waco, Tx with wife Traci . Married in 1982 

One Son: Marcus 22 years old who is attending Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Moved to Wylie the summer of 1977 from Burleson when his Dad was hired by Wylie ISD as a teacher/coach.  

"I was fortunate enough to be able to move next door to my long time friend Rock King.  Rock and I had grown up playing youth baseball together."

Graduated from Wylie HS in 1978.

Attended Texas Lutheran College in Seguin TX. Played 1 year of football.

Transferred to Austin College in Sherman, TX. Played 1 year of football where we were conference champions in 1979. 

Finished College at The University of Texas at Arlington. 

Coached Football and Baseball at Nolan HS, Ft. Worth from 1982-1985  

Doug has been involved in the sporting goods business for the past 23 years.  Currently he works as an Independent manufacturers rep for Frazier Sports, Waco, TX.

Athletic Accomplishments:

Football State Champs Wylie HS – 1977,All District, All Metro, All-State , High School All-American, Participated in the Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star game.

Basketball: Letterman

Baseball: 1978 regional champs , All-District, participated in the Dr. Pepper Show Case Game.

Austin College: Football Conference Champs 1979. All conference. 

Academic Accomplishments: National Honor Society 1977-78.
