Preston Nix

Preston is a 1986 graduate of Wylie High School. At Wylie High School, Preston was an integral member of the Varsity football team his sophomore through senior years. As a sophomore, he started as offensive center and went on to letter as a sophomore. Preston started at offensive tackle and defensive end his junior and senior years. Preston went on to earn All-District Offense and All-District Defense honors both years. As a senior, Preston earned a spot in the Top 50 Metroplex players and the Top 100 in the State of Texas.
Preston received many full scholarship offers including Baylor and TCU. In fact, both Grant Teaff and Jim Wacker made personal visits to the Nix house on the same day! Ultimately, Preston chose to continue the family history of playing at TCU where his older brothers Scotty and W.C. played. He graduated from TCU in 1990.
Currently, Preston resides in Heath, Texas with his wife Mary Beth and their six children. He is the President of Sales for Sprayfoam Polymers. In addition, Preston has volunteered in his community through coaching youth football for the last 12 years. He is the co-founder of the youth football organization HHCA. He currently serves on the board for both HHCA and the Rockwall YMCA.
